I hope you enjoyed the last two weeks of gift guides. Today I am rounding out the series by sharing a list of gifts for the home sewist that are on the cheaper side. Everything on the list is below $25 or close to it, so great for a stocking stuffer.

Curve Runner Ruler - This is a 12 inch ruler that is on a wheel so it can roll along a curved edge. You can get it for left or right handed users. I think it's a cool gadget that I use quite a bit in pattern making and sewing.

Glass Head Pins - If you've only ever used plastic head pins when sewing, do yourself a favor and upgrade to glass head pins. I like the extra fine ones because they work nicely on finer fabrics. The biggest reason you want glass head pins is that they don't melt when you are ironing them.

Ironing board cover  - My ironing board covers get wrecked and so I always gift myself a fresh cover every January. I like the plain cream ones, but there are lots of fabric options out there depending on your style. It's one of those things that you use everyday, so having a nice new one really makes a difference.

Buttonhole Cutter Set - Opening buttonholes is scary, but it's a lot less scary if you have a buttonhole cutter set. You will need a small hammer as well, but it is sharp and straight and helps you avoid unfortunate accidents when cutting your buttonholes open.

Pattern Weight - I love my heavy, cast iron pattern weights. I have two of them and usually use them in the middle of a large pattern piece to stabilize everything before I add the smaller weights to the edges.

Gingher Embroidery Stork Scissors - Is there anything more iconic than the stork embroidery scissors? I love their vintage design and as pretty as they are, they are also a great tool to have around for making all of those little snips and cleaning up threads that you need to make when sewing.

That is it. I hope you enjoyed the series. Happy holidays!
