FAQS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

True Bias LLC is owned and operated in Denver, Colorado, USA.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PAPER AND PDF PATTERN?

A paper pattern is what most home sewists have traditionally used. Each pattern comes in a cardstock envelope for longevity. It contains a tissue paper sewing pattern and an instruction booklet. Pdf or digital patterns are emailed to you instantly and can be printed on your home
computer and taped together, or printed at a copyshop.

WHAT SIZE DO YOU DRAFT FOR?

My women’s patterns are drafted for a model who is 5’5” and a C cup. My sizing ranges from a US 0-18. For more information on measurements and to check all of my measurement charts for women, men, and children, click here.

HOW DO I ACCESS MY PDF PATTERN?

If you are new to digital (pdf) patterns I know that there can be a learning curve, but I promise that it is not as scary as it seems. You will get an email with a link to download your pattern up to 3 times. Make sure that you save it in a safe place such as dropbox or on a hard drive. It must be downloaded onto a computer and not an ipad or phone as it is a zip file. You will need to unzip the file in order to access all parts of your pattern. For more information and visuals of the process, please check out this blog post.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

I ship my paper patterns all over the world.

DO YOU DO WHOLESALE YOUR PATTERNS?

I do wholesale my paper patterns. If you are a shop and wish to carry True Bias patterns, send me an email through my contact page

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Due to the nature of digital patterns, we cannot refund pdf purchases. If there is an issue with your paper pattern, please send us an email so that we can figure it out.

CAN I SELL ITEMS MADE FROM YOUR PATTERNS?

My patterns and instructions are copyrighted and are intended for personal, home use only. Please do not sell garments made from my patterns.
