We are very excited to have a new True Bias pattern releasing today, the Casey Boxer Short and PJ Pant sewing pattern. The Casey currently comes in two size ranges - 0-18 and 14-32.
The Casey pattern is a boxer short or PJ pant with two rise options. Views B and D feature a high-rise elastic waist hitting at the natural waistline.
Views A and C are mid-rise sitting a couple of inches below the natural waist.
Views A and B are a classic boxer short style with a 3” inseam.
The boxer shorts views also have a cute little side slit at the hem.
Views C and D are pj pants with an approximate 29” inseam.
All views have optional inseam pockets.
All views also include a faux fly at center front with two small buttons.
We will talk more about fabric and notions in the coming week, but for now just know that the pattern calls for light to medium weight woven fabrics. Suggested fabrics cotton lawn, cotton voile, shirting, linen, rayon and silk. These samples were sewn up in a lightweight cotton shirting fabric.
