CALVIN SEW ALONG
The Calvin pattern is a wrap dress and top with exposed bias binding that extends into long ties to form a bow closure. It has rings and sliders which create adjustable shoulder straps for an easy fit. View A is a short top that hits approximately two inches below the natural waist. View B is a straight dress that hits at mid calf.

PREPARE PATTERN AND MAKE BIAS TAPE
The Calvin Sew Along begins with preparing pattern pieces, adding markings, and creating bias tape.
PREPARE BACK BODICE
We're now moving on to construction, sewing the back bodice pieces together and attaching bias to the back.
ASSEMBLE BODICE AND APPLY BIAS
Here we'll sew the front and back bodice pieces together and add bias binding to create straps.
FINISH STRAPS AND SEW THREAD CHAIN
Now it's time to attach the strap hardware and create what we need to secure the waist ties.
SEW HEM AND FINISH
In this post we'll finish the Calvin by checking the fit, attach a snap at the front bodice, and sew the hem.
