Introducing the Tobie Jacket Pattern

We are so excited to introduce our newest sewing pattern, the Tobie Jacket. I've been working on this pattern for over a year, and I am so excited to finally bring it to all of you.

The Tobie jacket is an oversized bomber jacket sewing pattern with two views.

View A is a more traditional bomber jacket design with ribbing for the neckband, wristbands and waistband.

View A also has welt pockets.

View B is a more stylized take on a bomber jacket and has a funnel collar and a wide zipper cover with sew-on snaps.

Instead or ribbing, View B has fabric covered 2 inch elastic for the waistband and wristbands.

And instead of a Welt pocket, it has patch pockets with a top flap and snaps. The pocket has both a top entry and a side entry.

Both views really lean into that oversized fit, are fully lined, and have a center front zipper. It is offered in two size ranges - 0-18 and 14-32 - and is currently pdf only.

The Tobie is probably our most advanced pattern to date, so I wouldn't recommend it to beginners. For those up to the challenge, we will have a full sewalong both on our blog and youtube to help you every step of the way.

Check back here for not only our sewalong, but also fabric and notions recommendations and other hacks and tutorials for the Tobie Jacket pattern.
