In my opinion sewalongs are one of the best parts of sewing with indie patterns. I know that I have learned a lot from watching the people that I look up to sew up their own patterns. I have made close to ten versions of this pant during the drafting / testing phase and have learned a lot during the process. I kinda feel like I could sew them with my eyes shut now.
